Korean food is enjoying a renaissance, and rightly so as it offers a real change from the more usual Asian cuisines of China, Thailand and Japan. Now is definitely the time to know your bibimbap from your bulgogi and Debbie Lee is the perfect guide through the incredible flavours and textures of her home-country cuisine. Seoultown Kitchen reflects her favourite thing about Korean food – small plates, simple and delicious, ideal for sharing with friends, which encompass Korea’s full culinary range; sizzling kebabs served straight from the grill; luxuriant sauces; heart-warming noodles; its legendary pork belly and everything accompanied with pickles and kimchee, the signature side that delivers an unforgettably spicy kick.
