The first section of the book answers questions such as what eating for two (or more!) really means, how much water pregnant women need to drink, food cravings and what they mean, which foods and drinks to avoid, which vitamins to take and what to eat for morning sickness. The remainder of the book contains more than 100 delicious and inspiring recipes designed to tempt even women whose appetites have been suppressed by acute morning sickness. Divided into chapters that take you from breakfast through supper to snacks to satisfy midnight cravings, the recipes provide all the nutrients necessary for a healthy diet when pregnant but in a way that the whole family can enjoy.
