Matthew Biggs trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and appeared in Channel 4’s Garden Club. He writes for Gardeners’ World magazine and lectures around the world. Matthew travels extensively and likes to experiment with unusual varieties and try out new growing techniques. He is the co-author of GQT Plant Chooser and GQT Techniques and Tips for Gardeners. He is best known for appearances on BBC Radio 4's Gardner's Question Time.
Jekka McVicar established her Herb Farm in 1985. She presented the RHS video on herbs and is on the RHS Council. Crowned the ‘queen of herbs’ by Jamie Oliver and one of Rick Stein’s food heroes, Jekka has been awarded over 60 RHS Gold Medals for her herb exhibits at the RHS flower shows, including 14 at Chelsea Flower Show. Jekka has had four books published, including Seeds in association with RHS and Jekka’s Complete Herb Book. Jekka is also well known for her regular appearances on TV and radio gardening and cookery programmes and contributes to Gardeners' World Magazine, Good Food and Gardens Illustrated.
Bob Flowerdew has gardened organically for over 30 years and is Britain’s and Europe’s leading organic gardener. He is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time and writes for journals at home and abroad particularly Amateur Gardening, Kitchen Garden Magazine, BBC Gardeners World Magazine, Gardens Illustrated and Reader's Digest.
His books include Bob Flowerdew’s Complete Fruit Book, Bob Flowerdew’s Organic Bible, The No-Work Garden, The Gourmet Gardener, Going Organic and Grow Your Own, Eat Your Own.
