Richard Bertinet opens new shop & cafe

Richard Bertinet is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to making bread. He has been running his world-renowned bakery and cookery school The Bertinet Kitchen since 2005 and the spotlight has been on him ever since. It was also the year that he published his first book Dough which was met with critical acclaim and won a host of awards. Richard went on to publish his second book Crust and a notable personal acclaim is when he was awarded BBC Food Champion of the Year in 2010.

With all this success, we’re pleased to congratulate Richard and his wife Jo Bertinet on opening The Bertinet Bakery shop & café at 6 New Bond Street Place in Bath. The stunning setting of a shop and cafe within Bath's historic vaults twinned with modern glass and warm lighting is certainly the place for a welcome break whilst out shopping. It’s even got extended opening hours this festive season on Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 7pm so you can grab your mince pies whilst out doing your Christmas shopping.
