Paul A. Young

Born in Yorkshire, Paul A. Young started work as a pastry chef for Marco Pierre White at The Criterion, London. He later became Head Pastry Chef at Quo Vadis in Soho before giving it up to make chocolate and open his first shop in 2006.

Paul's chocolate has won many awards, including gold medals at the World Chocolate Awards. He has appeared on BBC2's Food and Drink, ITV's This Morning as well as UKTV Food's Great Food Live and Market Kitchen, plus on The Today Show in the US. He is the author is Adventures with Chocolate, which won a Gourmand Cookbook Award for World’s Best Chocolate Book, was shortlisted for an Andre Simon Award and was included in the Independent’s Top 50 cookbooks.
