Spanish chef José Pizarro is talk of the foodie town and we wish him many congratulations on winning the Food and Travel Magazine Award for best newcomer restaurant. His enthusiasm is catchy and his vibrant restaurant Pizarro exudes his lively character which you'll find in the heart of Bermondsey, a fashionable area in London where José now has both a sherry bar and restaurant. He cooks in his own style and with roots firmly in Spain, focusses on fresh, bright and seasonal ingredients. The menu is always full of tantalising delights like Razor Clams with Chorizo and Mint or Salt Cod Vizcaina, and often likes to keep his twitter followers (@Jose_Pizarro) up-to-date with the latest seasonal dish on the menu.
